HISTORY

Prayer Lavender Garden is a small, family owned and operated Lavender farm located in Rockwall, Texas. The farm was established in 2016 after being awarded the Young Farmers Grant from the Texas Department of Agriculture. We opened to the public in June 2018 and welcome our friends and neighbors to visit us!

Our 3 acre farm has approximately 1800 Lavender plants,

LAVENDER STATUS:

DECEMBER 10, 2019

Our Lavender is in a dormant stage after this year's frost. We will start seeing green leaves in March & April with purple blooms spiking in late May or early June.

JULY 06, 2019

We have officially completed this year's harvest. You will see the plants in various stages of growth at this time with the purple blooms returning next Spring.

MAY 07, 2019

We are starting to see long stems and purple blooms! Lavender should be in full bloom from mid May to mid June.

APRIL 15, 2019

We are excited to re-open to our friends and neighbors this week and are looking forward to a fun filled Summer. We just re-planted 250 hardy variety Lavender plants and have about 700 more to go so please bare with us through the process. We experienced flash flooding and heavy plant loss this year. There are still several mature plants on the farm that are showing significant new growth. We expect to see blooms beginning in May and will post an update when we are in full bloom.

We are also working on a 9 hole miniature golf course, which can be enjoyed by the public upon completion. Please connect with us on Facebook for more updates.

See you at the Farm!
